About the Law Office of Robert A. Bragaw, Esq.
With over 20 years experience working in the federal contracting arena, and a stint managing a contract with the U.K. Ministry of Defence, I understand the environment of government contracts - from appropriations to contract closeouts, and pretty much everything in between.
But, government contracting, at its heart, is contracting...transacting. Transactions are the heart of my practice; whether the transaction involves goods, services or a combination of the two, and whether the transaction is domestic or international.
I like helping people start a new business or grow their existing business by identifying areas where they need to implement more structure, such as adding particular policies or procedures, formalizing the legal entity (i.e., forming a corporation or a limited liability company) and by implementing agreements that help define how the business owners will interact, how the business will be valued for purposes of a buy-out, and how the business might be liquidated or sold.
I can also assist with international business expansions, distressed property management and disposal issues, export controls, and anti-corruption compliance.
Are you involved in a dispute with a vendor or client? Do you want to resolve the dispute while maintaining the relationship? Consider mediation rather than litigation or arbitration. In mediation, the parties craft a solution that works for both of them, with the assistance of a neutral third party. I have received training as a mediator, and may be able to assist you in negotiating an agreement with your vendor, client or third party.
I look forward to speaking with you about your legal needs, and how my firm can help.
